Arm length decides the model, not the other way round. Every figure in this table is copied from the parameter table of the model next to it — nothing here is estimated. Measure the clear opening between the posts (not between cabinet centres), then read your span off the first column.
| Arm length | Recommended models | Drive & speed | Arm types available | Typical lane |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5–3 m | SC04 (pole ≤ 6 m straight) | Brushless DC, 3–6 s adjustable | Straight pole; 5 m fence pole | Single lane, small gated community or guard booth |
| 4 m | D206 (rod 4–5 m); SC04 (pole ≤ 6 m) | D206 3–6 s; SC04 3–6 s adjustable | D206 straight rod; SC04 straight pole or 5 m fence pole | Standard car-park single lane |
| 4.5 m | WS01 (4.5 m three railings); D206 (rod 4–5 m); SC04 (pole ≤ 6 m) | WS01 AC motor 1.2–6 s; D206 3–6 s; SC04 3–6 s | WS01 three-rail fence; D206 straight rod; SC04 straight or fence | Commercial entrance with pedestrian control |
| 6 m | SC04 · SC05 · WS01 · D02 · D05 | SC04/SC05 3–6 s; WS01 1.2–6 s; D02 3–6 s; D05 6 s | SC04 6 m straight or 5 m fence; SC05 octagonal and anti-collision bar; WS01 6 m straight, 6 m curved arm, 5.5 m two railings; D02 / D05 advertising boom | Wide lane, or a lane the owner wants to monetise with advertising |
| 7 m | K01 (rod ≤ 7 m); T01 (rod ≤ 11.5 m) | K01 3–6 s; T01 3–6 s | Bar type not stated in either datasheet table — confirm with engineering | Industrial entrance, warehouse gate |
| 8–11.5 m | T01 (rod ≤ 11.5 m, wind resistance 8–9); railway double-bar gate (rod 6–11.5 m) | T01 3–6 s; double-bar gate DC brushless, opening time not stated — confirm | T01 single rod; double-bar gate two extended bars | Toll booth, railway crossing, very wide opening |
Read the limits literally. Where a datasheet gives only an upper limit (≤ 6 m, ≤ 7 m, ≤ 11.5 m), the model is listed for arms shorter than that limit as well — the shortest arm length stated anywhere on this page is 4 m (D206, rod length 4M–5M, i.e. 4–5 m). Any arm below 4 m, or a boom that has to be cut to an exact non-standard length, needs confirmation from engineering before you specify it.
Send us the clear lane width and we come back with the arm length, the model that covers it and a factory-direct quotation for that exact configuration — if your span is unusual, say so and engineering will confirm it rather than us guessing.

An automatic barrier gate is a motorized arm that opens and closes across a vehicle lane to control entry and exit. It is triggered by remote control, loop detectors, RFID readers, license plate cameras or payment systems.
A quality automatic barrier gate lasts 8-10 years. DC brushless models are rated for over 1,000,000 cycles - roughly 10+ years of commercial use at 300 cycles per day.
AC motor gates are cheaper upfront but run hotter and wear faster. DC brushless gates are more efficient, run cooler, and deliver 2-3 times more operating cycles, making them cheaper over their lifetime.
Yes. Our intelligent barrier gates integrate with license plate recognition (LPR) cameras, parking payment machines, intercoms and access control software for fully automated entry and exit.
Factory-direct prices are quoted per project — on request, depending on motor type, arm length and accessories. Contact us for an exact quotation based on your site requirements.
